Privacy policy

At VRforKidz we take families’ privacy very seriously, especially children’s.

Who is responsible?

What data do we keep?

• Account data (of the adult who creates it): email, name (optional), encrypted password, language and, if you sign in with Google or Facebook, the identifier that service gives us.
• Characters: the names and, if you upload them, the face photos you choose to appear in the games.
• Game progress: completed worlds, stars, etc.
• Technical data: the devices where you’re signed in (device and browser type) and temporary security logs.

What for?

Only so you can use your account: save progress, show the characters in the games and keep the account safe. We don’t sell or share data, there are no ads and we don’t use the photos for anything else.

The photos

• They’re stored in a private folder on the server and can only be seen with your account signed in.
• When uploaded, we crop them and remove hidden file data (GPS location, phone model…).
• You can delete any photo, or the whole account, at any time from “My account”. They’re deleted immediately.
• Only upload photos of people who agree and, for minors, with their parents’ or guardians’ permission.

Children

Accounts are created by adults (parents or guardians). Children play using their family’s account.

Legal basis and retention

We process data with your consent and to provide the service you request. We keep it while you have the account; deleting it removes everything.

Your rights

You can access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and request portability, by writing to [CONTACT EMAIL]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We only use necessary technical cookies: session, “remember this device” and language. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-party services

If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, that service will know you signed in to VRforKidz, under its own privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
